Starting Seedlings in Little 9 oz. Cups? Rootbound When?

Whats up guys so i bought about 40, 9 oz cups from walmart, and got a bag of mg

Im going to start my seedlings in these little cups any idea of when my plants will get rootbound.

Say like at lke 1 foot.? 6 inches?

Well if you spray the water onto the soil instead of just pouring it in, you shouldn't have that problem until they're over a foot tall... I'd say once they're about a foot and a half you should transplant them.

so im taking that spraying the water, instead of pouring doesnt let the roots go all the way down.

Well this will be outdoor so, rain water will have its own affect.

Correct. if the water is just sprayed on the soil then the roots won't just shoot straight to the bottom :-)
However, since you said it's gonna be an outdoor grow, my advice was pretty much just pointless unless you can start them inside lol. sorry, i tried :-):leaf:
