Okay so i decided to just start over because my first grow went very bad. I didn't do as much research as i should have before i started but from that grow i learned a lot from my mistakes. SO anyways this is my set up #DONT MIND THE PLANTS IM TAKING THEM OUT AND STARTING OVER. I KEPT THEM IN THE PIC SO YOU CAN SEE SOMETHING WENT WRONG.

Im only growing one plant from bag seed that i germinated in a paper towel for 2days. I HAVE 9 23 WATT CFLS, i will only be having 5 of them on for vegging 24/0. Im going to start the seed off in that real small pot thats in the pic. Later i will trans plant it to a 3gal pot. Im using just some cheap potting soil. The name of it is ORGANIC POTTING SOIL. For nutes when that stage come, i will be using Dyna-Grow & Bloom.

Please give me any tips or suggestions . DO my grow room look good? Is my lights set up right ? Just PLEASE tell me anything that will help ? I did a lot of research but I'm pretty sure i still don't know EVERYTHING so what you have to say can be very IMPORTANT. Please help i don't want my plants to die again.

That plant is looking like it's getting burnt... Overfed too. Grow more bag seeds since there is roughly a 50/50 chance it will be male

Well I would like BSD0621 post but don't see the like button anymore. I agree the tips of the plant look burnt from the CFL being slightly too close. Good luck, it is my first indoor grow this year too but I am using CFL, FL and a 600 Watt MH / HPS.

Look I would say 2 if u actually wanted to grow some decent smoke. Theres alot to consider when growing. The basics like lights and air flow are crucial when deciding then number of plants you eant to grow. If the space is the only space you have to grow, I would start looking around for a better light setup. What are the dimensions of your grow space?

I agree with valley, it seems like 2 is about the limit with your set up. And Other users may disagree with me, but I don't think 24/0 is any good for a plant. I may be wrong but I just can't work out how it's good for a plant. If there's science behind it I'm all ears though. I'd suggest taking that time from 24/0 to 20/4, but that's just me. Everything needs a little sleep now and then, even plants.

Ya I ive always done mine 20/4. Plant needs down time to do what the plant does during light out

Just grow one and focus and pay attention to your plant
cfls should be atleast 6in away
or try the hand method
What's the hand method ? And I germinized 6 out of 7 seeds. I'm starting them all in 16oz(I believe)Mc Donald cups. I will upload pics soon as the plant rise from the soil.

6 inches... what?
keep the cfls as close as you can, 2-3 inches max.
i guess what he meant by the hand method - put your lights as close as you can to the plant, put your hand under the lights - if it ain't burning your hand, it ain't burning your plant.
like people already wrote - don't feed up until about 2 weeks (if you got the soil from a shop), when you see the lower leaves starting to yellow, you can start feeding at small doses.

Okay thanks but i have a question, is there a certain amount of water you suppose to give your plant? I've been watering my plants just by pouring water until i think its enough. you see the size containers/pots i have, how much you think would be good to water measured in teaspoons?

Lol teaspoons. Water until 10% runoff

Sent from my SGH-M919 using Rollitup mobile app
I'm saying teaspoons because I have a measuring cup that only measures teaspoons and table spoons and my pots not that big. They're only in 16oz party cups right now. And what do you mean by 10% runoff ?
