for starters I am new on this forum and would love some suggestions/ideas/help at starting indoor perpetual LED grow. I have 4x4 veg tent from previous outdoor season where I have used SF-4000 so that the babies were big and strong when we put them outside. We had over 200 Critical 2.0 + outside at 1200m/3600ft altitude above sea in central EU and they gave decent 230g+ dry per plant using only natural fertilizers ( no pics here because fuck tha police)
but now I'd like to start indoor because it is just to risky to grow such quantity and outdoor and to trim 3 days nonstop....
So I have 8x4 for flower and 4x4 for veg, got the ducting, timers ,small vents, dehumidifier/AC, trimmer. only thing is I'd love some help about how many and which lights to use, because I had SF4000 which was from a friend which was working great for veg but then I stumbled upon a thread here, where user stated about some burning marks which I def didn't want to hear/read about it because I don't want to burn the house
So my budget excluding tents, dehumidifiers, timers is 3000€/3500$ total, so max about 2000€/2300$ would go towards lighting, all other money goes to ventilation, pots, soil, fertilizers, seeds, etc...
I am strictly doing this for having bigger yield in shorter period of time, so that's where id like to get some insight, which is better to have XXL autos or to have 6-8 normal plants in the tent. I am leaning towards soil/coco growing which will give me less yield but I am not sure about hydroponics, nonetheless will take any suggestions from experienced indoor growers. Let me say I am not a regular smoker myself, well maybe once or twice a month, so looking only for yield My mom planted some cbd auto and it is doing amazing, while I planted 3 autos from RQS for fun this year( skywalker haze,blueberry) and well fuck it, they went to flower in 2 weeks so imagine the spliff yield
I was looking at SF4000 so that means at least 3 of them to have around 1300W, but not so sure about those lights anymore. Can anyone recommend me any other light than SF, preferably in EU market. If not possible I'll order lights through a family member. What about veg, is it enough HLG 100W veg spectrum or it needs to be stronger light and what would be optimal W for 8x4 .
Next thing is the choosing between autos or normal fem seeds....so what would you guys recommend me to get the most out of perpetual and in the future to get yield around 2,5-3,5 lbs, distant friend told me once that it is easy doable around 3 which I am aiming for.
When growing outdoor we were topping/fimming, we used some LST with net and that was about it , indoor I am leaning towards Scrog/LST. So many auto plants in 8x4 if it is even doable to reach desired yield or just to choose fem plants and wait a little bit longer to harvest.
I was looking towards GSC or Amnesia haze, but definitely not buying from RQS although had great Royal Gorilla 2 years back in greenhouse. I had great experience with Dinafem Critical 2.0 + seeds( super fucking mold resistant plant with decent yield at high altitude, would probably gave a lot more if grown at lower levels) but this story is sadly done, so which bank and seed for indoor.
