Stack-on dry/cure cabinet

I'll be harvesting for the first time next month and am trying to figure out where/how I am going to dry/cure.

So I have this cabinet in my lung room bolted to the floor and flower room wall. It's not being used for anything. I was l thinking to make it drying/curing cabinet.

Build some removable screen racks. Holes on either side of the bottom and one on the top with a fan gently pulling air through the cabinet. After drying I can jar it and lock it in the same cabinet.

A fan on a humidistat set to turn on when the RH gets above %50? Is that overkill?

I like the fact of the nugs being under additional lock and key. Is this a decent idea, as long as I'm willing to cut/drill the cabinet?

Suggestions?

A couple of posters here mentioned using a mover's box for hanging clothes as a very good drying enclosure. That way you can hang the buds while they're still on the branches which should slow drying in a good way. I see you have a couple locks on that door, do you really need to secure the drying buds in a locked cabinet? If so, start drilling and cutting.

You could always try the cardboard box idea, test out your venting and fans, then apply what you learn to the locked cabinet on the next harvest.
