quick update.. i checked on the girls today.. and damn.. i think that the autos will surpass the others by tomorrow.. its crazy how fast autos grow.. but i guess that are fitting a month or so of veg and 10 weeks of flowering into an 8 week process.. so i guess i shouldnt be so surprised...

very interesting on the auto's, i cant wait to get mine.

im fucking pissed today.. i wake up.. go down stairs.. and see water on my floor... my initial thought was a leak somewhere in my hydro system... but the location of the water was not near the location of my grow room.. it was 1 room over... so i let the dogs out and figured ill come to the bottom of it when i get back in...

so i get in and run upstairs to check the grow.... there's water fucking everywhere... im looking for leaks in the lines of the buckets.... non... ive had the return line from the water chiller fall out of the res, and thats connected to a continuous running water pump... nope... and then i see it... the return line from my drain bucket to my res came loose... well off actually... then i check the res to see how much water was lost... at least 30 gallons of water....

the worst part about it is there really isnt shit i can do... i soaked up what i could with towels... but basically im stuck just letting it dry....

i modified the spot where the tubing came lose.. its not going to come off now for sure... it just sucks bad.. to make it even worse feeling on me.. i woke up last night and thought i had heard something like water dripping.. but i thought i was just hearing things...

I have a koi pond with a waterfall just outside my bedroom window, I can't tell you how many times I've woken up scared my house is flooding lol. It's only really happened once, and I didn't check, so now I'm gun shy . . . now I get out of bed to check. Friggin sucks cuz I KNOW it's the friggin waterfall grrrr. But I can't go back to sleep unless I go check.

Now you're screwed cuz you'll HAVE to go check every time.

i have plenty of circulation and ventilation i dont think mold should be an issue.. its happened once or twice before already.... with the first set up... i went in after this time and secured shit really well...

about 10 times yesterday i went to recheck on things.. just to make sure.. and once again before bed... the paranoia isnt too bad.. but its there.. i dont want this to happen again... i am prolly going to end up changing the grow room to another room in the future... if i do that i'll go in the new room and basically water proof it first... put down pond matting on the floor... have the res and other parts that can leak in some sort of something that will contain the water... and a emergency pump in that in case water does leak it can just be pumped back into the res or outside or something.. still working on that..

other than that the girls are blowing up.. there are a couple chocolopes that im some qhat questionable about... but since i have 7 to 8 weeks before the autos are ready im basically going to wait until week 4 or so and see how the big girls are.. if any dont make it i can start some of the back up seeds i have and veg them at least 4 weeks or so..


also wanted to add... one of my exhaust ducts fucking broke on me.. its an easy fix.. i just had the duct stretched to hard, to far, and it finally just ripped.. so its been a little warmer than it was.. but still only at about 80....

im getting ready to start my day with feeding the girls and then do a last day deer hunt then come home and cut up more firewood. how is your weather back there. here is not to bad in the low to mid 40's. its been frozen over a couple mornnings ago.

i gotta water the few girls i have in dirt today.. i think they are getting a little dry.. and i need to fix that exhaust duct... but other than that i have a laid back day watching football and maybe gettin some head while i do it...

have you had a pretty decent hunting year this year?? i know you lost a few early on.. but i havent asked about it since.. cutting wood can be fun.. as long as you have a good axe or a log splitter.. i have a spot where a wood burner used to be in my house.. i want to pull down the wall around it and install a fire place... i think i'd end up getting a log splitter if i did that.. but then again splitting wood is good work..

weather isnt too bad.. early this last week it was really fucking windy and cold.. like 30 mph winds and shit... it sucked fuckin bad... i dont know if its warmer or not now.. but there isnt the wind.. so its manageable... theres a winter weather advisory right now... we got freezing rain and shit last night.. but its almost all melted off now i think..

im a flinking a lot of arrows thisyearand nothappy with not hitting anything, but hey its all fun. and i am my own spliter. i load logs up in my trailer and bring home and cut up. i can get ocer 2 cords hauling it this way.here's a pic. then i make a log deck at home and do the wack atack on it.

thought id check in with ya SS, as im not much time lately. shit hit the fan from me exhausting in my attic. no good in neg temps. had no gable venting. ran in to a mother of a prob. had to punch like 10 cans in the ridge. entire attic sweating like a mother, looking like antartica inside it... then dedicate a can for the exhaust, then have all my blow in insulation extracted, then i had that whole mofo attic lid sprayed 2in thick with corbond, and the exhaust tubes completly corbonded, then blowin on top of that. no retroffiting inside of garage door to be sprayed with corbond, new electrical more lamps, bound for 10k in flower room, and 2kmh and some floro maybe 400 in veg. will be so tight, cause its vertually getting sealed in...well hope all is well for u ss..

sounds like you have had your hands full.. glad to hear all your problems are fixed.. at least the ones you have found.. theres always something right?? shit always seems to be that way... im lucky that my attic has vents in it... one on each side of the house.. so the moist air from up there gets exhausted out...

sounds like you are moving into some serious grows.. im glad to hear that.. i am dialed in now.. and loving it.. cant wait to see what results i get... thats badass that your sealing your shit all in too.. i definitely will take a different direction when i set up my next op... when the time is right i want to buy another house and set up one there as well... but really do things right when i have the initial funds to invest.. instead of trying to do it as i go along...

but yea things are good.. the girls are blowing up.. growing wonderfully.. the temps are very nice even with the heavy duty lights going.. actually i have all my lights going 24/7.. so the 2500 in veg room and i have the hps ballasts set to 750w, so 3000 in the flower room... temps are barely in the mid 70s... i am waiting to get timers so i can cut back the hours a little.. but for now it works...

morrning all how things 2day. all is well here. just awaiting the lights to pop on any time..

thats always the best time.. i love going in and seeing how much they have grown over night.. its always amazes me...

yep they were looking so sweet sleeping and so purdy when they woke up.

i just got done watering the few dirt girls i have going and ended up taking some quick pics...

i have been impressed by the temp range... even with 4 x 750w hps lamps going on a 24/0 cycle (until i get my timers and can cut it back) temps are around 75 to 80... in the veg room things are cooler than that even... so im very confident that during the summer hours, when im running the 1000's on a 12/12 cycle, temps will stay within range.. and with the size of the room they are in i am really impressed.. that was the biggest fear i had the entire build up to that room... im glad to see i didnt over kill it much...

you can all give me shit if you want for the multiple plants in the tote.. but..... with it being winter i didnt want to buy soil and pots together at my local home depot... just a safety thing.. but i figured the tote would supply ample space...

as far as the pics go the first two are under the floros in the veg room and the group of 4 is under one of the 400w hps lamps.. you can see the difference the floros really make as far as plant compactness compared to the hps...

the last couple pics are under the big hps lamps.... i think all of these are about a week.. actually the ones on the veg side are 7 days.. the ones in the flower room are 5 days... exciting huh??

thought i'd throw in a couple pics of the puppies i am keeping out of the litter i had.. meet captain jack and precious....


**edit** the first and third pics are from under the floros.. the 2nd is under the 400w hps... when i get the funds i am going to replace those 400w hps with 2 more floros... i may even try to get 4 more and have a solid canopy...

why i have done it. as long as the tote is big enough witch it looks like it is will be ok. they may not get as big as if they were in there own pot but i sure wasn't crying when i had nine in a tote like yours.

im not too worried about it.. its more just because i am so insistent on individual pots.. its sort of goes against what i would teach a new grower.. you know what i mean... im just not practicing what i preach...
