They have dug up two of my outdoors plants since they're getting ready for winter. Too bad where I live it doesn't get cold in the winter. Should I just shoot them or relocate my plants?

That depends on what they have been foraging. Cook a squirrel from a conifer region and they taste like turpentine. If they eat acorns or pecans then they taste good. Good luck controlling them by killing them. They are territorial and as soon as that one bossy female is gone her archenemy then moves in. They disappear only for a short time. A dog is a much better idea and warns of human assholes as well.Shoot them and then cook em. Great eating.
Thats why you give them poison peanuts, then bring them down to their little home and hook the whole fam upThat depends on what they have been foraging. BTW they are probably storing nuts underground and chose your plants because the soil is softer.
Then what else eats those nuts? Dogs eating dead squirrels, ravens and magpies eating dead squirrels.Thats why you give them poison peanuts, then bring them down to their little home and hook the whole fam up
That's what I've heard. Ever try Armadillo?Shoot them and then cook em. Great eating.
Just what I was going to say, they aren't digging looking for food, they are burying food. That depends on what they have been foraging. Everything dies at one point or another, its the cycle of life mate. Then what else eats those nuts? Dogs eating dead squirrels, ravens and magpies eating dead squirrels.
So by your reckoning you have no issue with the notion of dumping toxic waste into a lake?Everything dies at one point or another, its the cycle of life mate.
Not with me deciding how but with no control over what does.Everything dies at one point or another, its the cycle of life mate.
So theres a squirrel by your plants and you get ready to shoot it and it runs up the tree onto a branch, you want to make sure he dont come back for your babies so you take the shot. Low and behold behind the tree by the bushes theres a person that gets shot by the same bullet that hits the squirrel and kills the person. But thats ok cause you didnt use poison peanuts so killing the person is justified?Shoot them and then cook em. Great eating.
In the UK we are sensible check we are safe to shoot before doing so.So theres a squirrel by your plants and you get ready to shoot it and it runs up the tree onto a branch, you want to make sure he dont come back for your babies so you take the shot. And such hunting accidents do happen like that every year, so you cant say it wouldnt happen.
And if the off chance you use the bb gun defense, ppl can get hurt from them too they might not die but they can lose an eye.
