Sprouting, need help w/ pic!!

The lights are not necessary until the sprouts break the soil. All they'll really do at this point is dry out your soil. For germing you should be fine with those lights, but personally I'd upgrade to more/bigger lights once they get a couple nodes going. Till then, just make sure the soil is nice and moist and they should do fine.

Did you soak the beens before planting? how deep did you plant the beens? Trying to get a time line for sprouting.

I think they will take longer to sprout. a week or more. If they don't work give a shout and I'll give you the best way to grem I've found.

Light aint needed till they break the surface. Germing straight into soil or jiffy plugs is the way to go mate, if the seeds you planted are viable they will come through eventually. Stick with it mate! Dont get impatient and start using paper towels, they suck! There are loads of recent good threads about germing seeds, do a search and have a read. Geo

If Gardening has taught me anything is patience, I planted an ass load of peas and pretty much gave up on them, about a week and a half later I got vines going every where. Give it time and water. Lets face it unless you traded your last cow for 3 of these magic beans they aint going to be sky scrapers overnight.
