Spring Crop Questions

I've heard of spring crops being done, but wondered about the timing with the sun and everything.

If I wanted to try to have an outdoor plant finish in the spring, when would be the best time to put it out? As soon as possible after the danger of frost/cold I'd assume? (Western Washington state)

I could start from a clone so it would be ready to flower, I guess if the days started getting too long I could always stick it inside in the dark at night?

I'm not sure but I put out some plants on April 26th at two weeks old and I harvested them on July 17th (they flowered early) about 3oz per. Hope that helps a lil. The plants are strong btw, I had my sativas just below 32 degrees for a couple hours with no problems. I live at 39 degrees btw

The Sun really isn't worth a crap until March . If you can sneak out with out frost in March you should be harvested in time for the regular season.

Thanks, I think I might try it. If we get a cold snap I can put it in the garage or something overnight

I took a couple clones from a flowering plant, and they're slowly reverting to veg. I should be able to get them pretty branchy by March. I bet it could make for some colorful flowers at the cooler temps too.

Hope I can keep mine contained til mid February and that they don't outgrow my vegg space. The days have gotten about a half hour longer after winter solstice and our temps have been better at night down here but the sun is still not hitting the green house yet but 2 hours.
February is a sketchy freeze month.
