hey RIU-

I read online that spraying sparkling water will feed CO2, can anyone confirm this?

Erm. Well, maybe highly carbonated water would work. This sounds like someone found out that sparkling water has dissolved CO2 in it and thought it would be a good idea to both water and 'feed'. It would seem to depend on the pH of the carbonated water according to the always venerable wikipedia. On one hand, high pH carbonated water contains little CO2. On the other hand, low pH carbonated water contains quite a bit CO2 at a high partial pressure, but spraying it on your plants would be tantemount to using some nasty acid.

Doesn't really sound feesable to me. And at the very least not cost effective.

thank you for your input Chemis. This was mentioned in the infamous MR. Green grow video so I thought I would confirm it on here....

nope,
Doesn't work like that, not enough Co2 that way to make a difference. Plus I have a feeling you would burn your leafs bye misting them while your lights were on. Better to mix yeast sugar and warm water and let that create co2 for your plants.
you can find how to do it on this website. Before you actually spend good money on co2 you should make sure everything else in your grow room is perfect or else it wont do much. Like no cfl's, HID it up. Temps & humidity right, ect, ect. Good luck with growing.
