Sprayers Timing..... How long am I good for?

I just recently built a couple of areo setup out of rubermaid containers and PVC pipe. I was reading on hear that most people have the timers set up to spray 1 min on and 5 off for the best results. I bought a timer for this purpose but it hasnt arrived yet and I got my clones yesterday so I threw them in the system and have been running a constant mist of water and nutes. My question is how long can I do this without having root problems, or is there a better way to do it, i have a timer right now that is only in 15 min incriments ( hence why I bought a new one for the purpose) Just wondering if my plants will be ok until the timer gets here?

Any Input would be greatly appreciated, I was doing ebb and flow and now ventured off to the Aero side of things so I am a veteran Noob :hump:

Thanks Guys

Your plants will be fine running 24/7.

I never got around to getting a timer so that is how I do it, and I also get 100% success rate.

Thanks for the info..... I was worried all day at work thinking about root rot and everything else that could go wrong, went home and the timer was on the porch. Do you flower with it running 24/7 too just as long as you have an air pump and air stone to oxygenate the water? Still a little new to Aero I started off with ebb and Flow and just recently built a couple areo systems one for clones and one for veg. Didnt know how good it would work in flower, seems to me that I see people having problems.

Thanks Bluntman
