I have the chance to buy (2) 24000btu Ocean air spot coolers these are the true commercial portable air conditioners you see used to cool server rooms.

My questions are how do these rate. I want a mini split, but it is not an option right now. The price I can get both of these units for is a steal and I will most likely get them and re-sell them if they will not work for my needs.

They come with the added duct attachments to bring in condenser air from area of choice though duct work and exhaust air to location of your choice through duct, also has the split hose discharge attachment to blow the cooled air in two different directions. If these units work and also truly have condenser intake outtake separated and will not mix outside air and inside co2 enriched air.

I grow in a 12x12 I have multiple grow setups and always changing things around using different controllers and methods. My goal is to have a complete sealed room. but I am a renter and have altered the apartment as much as I can with out trouble. My room is in the basement and I have a framed two walls to a corner of the foundation that I have black and white poly.

These spot coolers have an evaporator coil and condenser coil and each coil has its own blower. Evap. blower is rated at 810 cfm and cond. blower 1010cfm and duct is rated for up to 50feet in length. there is a evap. return air duct, to duct air to the inlet of evaporator cond. return air duct to duct air to the inlet of the condenser.

I live in North East United States and only have 4-5 warm months out of the year. I hope to run my room sealed. Is this air conditoner capable of doing the job. Or will it only casue more problems. I know retail these are between 3-5 grand a piece. I hoped to get them both use one in my grow and sell the other to make my money back. Does anyone use these??

I know IdealAir or similar makes big AC units that are like the server-room style units with ducts for in/out... can't imagine why these wouldn't work... Especially if getting them where you can keep 1 and break even...etc...
