Split stalk by accident, repairable?

Hey all - I split the stalk on thin plant durring training and didn’t notice for a week or so, inside the stalk where it’s split is dry and appears to have healed. Plant seems green and ok but looks a little stunted size wise compared to the other plants in the tent

I guess I’m wondering if I should leave the main branches where the split is on or if I should cut losses and avoid more dplitting as the plant’s weight grows by lopping them off and focusing on the smaller bottom two branches. I’ve put in some bamboo to help with branch weight and will scrog once flipped to flower.

any help or advice greatly appreciated!

I would get the whole thing pushed back together.
think so? It feels like its healed this way now and doesn’t want to go much further than where its at. Keep in mind I didn’t see this for at least 7 days and then waited another 3 to do anything about it. I could force it back together but would require some more aggressive zip tying to hold it together

looks healed up enough to leave it as is.

Once it starts getting bigger, may want to cut the zip ties and replace.

Always be aware and watching for spilts and snaps. When encountered at least spritz with H2O2. Then use a flexible tape, garden is preferred. Miracle grow makes a good product there only. I use electrical tape turned sticky side out. And REMOVE the wrapping as soon as healed. Will choke the plant into some real stunting. So remove those zip strips as soon as solid again. And never use again! LOL.
Also a dab of cinnamon on any completely snapped of branches over 1/8". And always address immediately. Less damage and chances of pathogens.

It happens. The shit I have snapped and broken. 001.jpg

yes, thank you. This picture helps me visualize how it will look once fully healed. I don’t think it split while I was actively LSTing, I think it gradually split through the days afterwards but either way I guess I wasn’t paying enough attention.
