Spiders but not spider mites...

Hey everyone,

I have been noticing some white fuzz on the stems of my plants. This is an outdoor grow. There wasn't much, today there was a decent amount and then I saw some spiders clustered together where there was the most. It can not be spider mites from my understanding because they were too big( seen easily with the naked eye). They had round brown bodies maybe 3/4 of a pencil eraser in size. Didn't get a good look at the leg count because I freaked out but I think was 6. I sprayed a spinosad solution. There are two plants but the other one doesn't seem affected much at all. The one with the infestation also has leaves here and there that look like light green and the bright green almost like zig-zag patterns within in the veins of the leaves.
Any ideas on other spiders that infest and create a white fuzz?

Yeah man i feeel ya i went out to mine today and had the same thing, i just wiped it off and said f#ck it

if its six legged, they aren't spiders.

i'd just be careful there aren't any hiding caterpillars...
they spin webs when they F#$k sh$t up

last year i had corn borers

Sorry about the corn borers, I dealt with them a few years back. They fucked up quite a few of my plants.

okay so my mom used to own a nursery and so she actually figured it out for me. NOT a spider! It is a small "aphid like insect" called Hemlock Woolly Adelgid

Harmless to you unless you're growing Hemlock.
Why would they infest a Cannabis plant ?

well they are in a very thick wooded area. They went through a bit of shock when I first got the clones the roots had grown several inches ( like 12 inches ) out of the pot. I do not think they have the greatest immune systems. I don't know that it's harmless because it seems to be causing weakness in the branches where the most fuzzy stuff is.other than that I'm mostly just wouldn't want that stuff in my weed

If you'd have kept quiet I'd have never known you were bad talking me.

I would spray with neem extract, it's repulsive not only to spider mites but also to most sap sucking pest

yes I saw it was recommended to use pesticidal soap or oil. I assume Neem Oil is the most organic thing available?

lol I am a total loser and don't know how to like your comment in reciprocation like you liked mine so felt the need to reply! Probably has something to do with that not keeping quiet problem .....

get 3 chillies some olive oil and dish washing liquade cut the chillies up put in a pot with oil simmer 4 20 mins strain mix with 1 cup of water to 1 teaspoon of soap spray ur plants done no more bugs repeat once every 2 weeks or once a week if it rains

I forgot about this! Thank you. I did this with the addition of garlic once. My entire house reeked, the process was also a little different. Your way sounds less smelly.

my old man been useing this for about 40 years lol he always has prime outdoor buds and zero bugs
