ive just gone into my grow room and i have got webs on 1 of my plants and not the other with little white dots in the webs. im not far from harvest i want i quick and affective way 2 kill them. would any 1 recomend a sulpher bud box 2 kill them as heard different things about them or just go 4 the spray. also how fast 2 they eat the bud as cant get 2 shop till monday or tuesday. any help is welcome ive got 2weeks left i think

Ya gotta spray on a weekly basis.I do all my plants now ev. wk after I had an infestation that cost me $$. You also nd to check your gro weekly -I do ev.5days cause these little assholes can hatch from an egg in 3 days.AND both male & female can lay eggs without being fertilised. IF ya get mites in "bud" stage then don't ruin your buds by spraying like crazy.Some don't spray at all in bud stage.I do! Just very,very carefully. I hit the major(sun) leaves, then start painting on the liquid spray with either my fingers or a simple paint brush or paper towel.Patience grasshopper! This shit takes patience.Now,when I see a spider, I place the little guy in my gro- because they ALL eat spider mites.

I don't know what products are available in the UK, here in the US there's a product sold in most grow shops called Doktor Doom. Its a fogger, since your two weeks out you must act now. As soon as I see or suspect mites I buy two bottles and release them in my grow room lights off with all fans off during the dark period. Let a day go by, then hit them with three bottles. I don't care what anyone says this is the best way in my opinion. I don't need to spray but only for preventive maintenance, in which I stop week 4. if after week 4 they weasle they're way in this is the recipe to rid them. At least for my environment for I have a 'sealed' room. If fogger's aren't available there's a product I use called mite rid that works well, and SNS spray. The SNS has damaged my leafs before but seemed to work well, I stay away and use it as a last resort plan. The nice thing about the fogger's is once used any and all bug life is exterminated. If you have animals and your room is not sealed I'd take extreme caution while using foggers.

It's probably not a good idea to dust buds with DE. If the silicon doesn't burn and poison you then you don't want to inhale the stuff either.
they r about 2weeks from harvest my friend has just bought me a hotbox sulpher thing u use 1gr per hour and will kill them after 3hours i hope it will work

first isolate the plant. Then fill a spray bottle with ice cold water and a few drops of dish soap. I heard that the non-concentrated dawn and Ivory are the safest, but I'm sure any name brand is fine.
The ice water shocks the mites while that soap traps and washes them away. You can then dry the plants off using a fan.
Order some DE and a dust applicator off Amazon.com and apply a light layer to the stem and leaves. Respray with soapy water and apply DE once a week.
When you harvest, spray with cold water (no soap). Don't worry if a little DE remains, its safe to eat and touch.

Gather a bunch of cigarette butts, and make a nicotine tea. Spray on undersides, and watch those little fookers croak it. Seriously. It's a knockdown agent (instant death) Nicotine is extremely toxic.
If you want to buy something, go for Rotenone or Pyrethrin liquid (both are alkyloid plant defense compounds, derived and concentrated from botanical sources) Rotenone takes about 3 days, but does the job.
Remember about their eggs. You must re-apply twice...? at weekly intervals to make sure you kill all of the hatchlings
I believe all of the above can be sprayed (on vegetables... for eating) right up to harvest, but do your own research.
Alternately, you can try giving them a warm, soapy bath before tucking them in at night. (kidding, that can be effective too, it plugs up their spirocles (breathing holes) but you have to get 100% coverage, and may end up with soapy tasting consumables)
Horticultural oils have the same effect; I would go with that, if available.
My first choice is the nicotine. I smoke, so it's free and easy, and it slaughters those little bastards.

of all you guys who do this regularly nobody has thought to use lady bugs? tyhey are the safest and best way to prevent and kill. dont hurt u your plants or anything, no pesticides no nothing. they are harmless and they are cheap and easy to use. i just got mites and for $12 i got 500 lady bugs and released em.... they eat aphids mites and thripes...spiders are helpfull but also tent plants with web as mites do. lady bugs rock!
