spidermites at harvest

so... my heads have been attacked. im effing pissed off. the tops are almost a footlong and now these damned little critters have to go and eff it up... im about one week from harvest, im gonna go to vegas come back and harvest.

HOWEVER. this is an INFESTATION they got their little webs all up in my shit. i have florakiller that i used early on as a dip to kill them off during veg. that was great, but then they popped up in full force about 2 weeks ago.

if i harvest are they going to survive? or try to find more nutrients? my trimmings have all the little buggers trying to find a new place to go. theyre traveling along the stems till the reach the end, then heading back... so i set 'em on fire...

is there enough time to do anything? will they ruin my harvest?

should i use a bug bomb? my buddy used that and it worked well. but then its harvest time...

the predicament is: i can kill the mites, save the weed, but have chems in it.
or i can harvest them, hope the mites leave/dont ruin my tops.

if your right at harvest the only thing i can suggest at this point is to rinse your plants off with a hose or shower or whatever mildly strog water sorce you can....put a fan on em to dry em out for a day or 2 an harvest...peace az

At this late stage manual removal is your best bet I think...you can use a small shop vac with an adapter kit for computer keyboards--turns it into a dentist-sucker type deal, small, pinpoint...also can remove bigger leaves that have obvious signs of mites...cold air in the dark slows 'em down too, helps purple strains go purple. Just my .02...good luck.

people eat worms and moneky brains and goat ears and bull testicles and cat tongues and gorilla shit and who knows what else, it'd be like little popcorn going off everytime ya fried a mite n its web

hey I had a major infestation 1 month into flowering and i first tried the soap/vinegar/water spray, then the neem oil, but nothing really got rid of them until I got the HOT SHOT no pest strips, these things really work, no shit. last for up to 4 months, just don't spend too much time in growroom, gives off some stuff u don't wanna breathe on a regular basis. they were seriously gone in 2-3 days---good luck
