so i live in an apt and have 2 diff grow rooms.

just noticed i have spidermites on all my plants and they literally came overnight because i check them every other day for bugs.

i bought "liquid ladybug" because 6 of my plants are 4-6 weeks in flower and my other 12 are in veg.


im wondering what you guys use to get rid of them?
the liquid ladybug seems to work but i've sprayed 3 times and they come back after about a day.

i've used azamax and azatrol but only in the veg stages, im thinking about ordering live ladybugs from home depot and letting em run wild in my room.

what do you guys think?

room size is 12'x10'

AND if you are going to vote out live ladybugs, what spray/fog do you use because its way too late to use a bug bomb...

help!

Here is what i used.
Recipe came from an artical written by Ed Rosenthal,

In 4 liters of water add
about 3 table spoons of ground cinnamon
about 3 table spoons of ground cloves
and about 3 tablespoons of a mixture called italian seasoning.
Bring all to the boil and allow to cool.
Once cool add in a whole bulb of garlic and let steep over night.
Next day strain and put mixture in a sprayer and liberally spray your plants.

You need to spray everyday for about 2 weeks to get rid of them properly.
I've used this when i had spider mites and it worked great.
Make sure you spray underneath the leaves too.

Good Luck with getting rid of your mites.

Use it a day before harvest(but why?) , its nothing but water that's undergone a process and a wetting agent.

I've heard it promotes PM or strengthens it but haven't seen that myself, kills mites fucking dead.

ill get the neem oil right after xmas and finish this bottle of liquid ladybug.

is there a mix already i can buy or is it more cost efficient to buy a concentrate and then make it myself in a spray bottle?

i didn't do any prevention but im going to start. Luckily i'm ahead of the spidermites right now, can't let em catch up!

my nephew used to use neem, then he ended up hating neem, he then used purespray green (petroleum oil, ewwww) , I turned him on to mighty wash and he's never looked back.

5ml per litre of tepid water with a tiny drop of non perfumed dish soap to emulsify....shake well during use...........spray pots, earth, under and over leaves , stems and surrounding areas...............do every 5 days if you have them, should be well gone after 3 treatments or spray as yo go into flower to prevent an outbreak during flowering............fucks their heads up, cant breed,eat,hatch............

nothing wrong with neem.............its natural.......works very well if used right....doesnt cost much...........degrades easily under the lights...........is safe.............also good to keep ticks and fleas off dogs.........can also add to your feed ......yeah that zappa

support your local mom and pop hydro store, if you're in the denver area they're everywhere, look at waytogrow dot net(although don't buy there, mom and pop they are not, too corporate for my taste) , it will set you back about 35 bux a gallon for a ready to spray.

I spray half a gallon every two weeks or so and just don't even bother checking because I know where there may be a mite or two left in the end they won't get out of control. I also bought a application device that theres no question I'm covering this plant. turns the leaves up when I use it, very harsh. more harsh than I like but I know in the end no bugs.

i wouldnt have a problem supporting a local mom and pop store if they charged mediocre prices.

its the fact that i can buy a bottle of phosphoload for 85 bucks online or 175 from my grow store.

once everything is added up, i save thousands by online shopping a year, and as a poor college kid thats making it through without debt but dont have spending money, i gotta do what i gotta do :(

but i do buy phdown and anything i cant wait for from them :]

your best price for mighty wash will be at your local shop... plus I haven't found anything online cheaper than my local shop so far.

It's the shipping that kills it. but a quart is less than $20 if I remember correctly.
