spider mites....cut down...or cut leaves...or both??

i noticed about a week ago some of my plants getting spotty on the leaves, then i seen on one all the leaves were covered with it, i sprayed them with kloraform and dont know yet if it worked as far as the bad one should i pull most of the leaves off or would cutting it down and pulling all the leaves off be better to do? do the mites go from the leaves to the buds? do they just stay on the leaves? they are 7 weeks into flower...thanks for any advice

I had mite during flower and yes they go from leaves to buds it actully a turn off to see those suckers
Takeover those pistils
Here's how I got rid of dem
1.Ventalation I actully turn my fans right on my plants
Mites don't like leafs bouning up and down just make sure u remove any healthy plants
2.Llower temps
3.Lower hours or light by a hour or 2
4.Increse humidty
Also sprayin under side or leave with a jet stream of water not a mist
But I dunt recomened spraying plants after 4 weeks of flowering
