spare bedroom grow

Im vegging in my walk in closet atm, with a sunblaze T5 that has 8bulbs and is 4ft by 2ft,

originally i had 31 ladies under it but took half of them to another place to be put under a 400w MH light.and they will stay there till finished with a 1000watt

Im going to be flowering with a 1000watt HPS in a spare bedroom, but im not sure how im going to set up the room.

with my room
i can use the whole room and with that said im going to be using panda film with a zipper door to make a second door entry to the room,to block off light and smell from leaking through the door to the outside of the room.

atm i dont have any AC units, exhaust,or intake fans, carbon scrubbers so any suggestions in your design would be considered,

i will take measurements soon,i dont have my measuring tape on hand.

im wondering if building a tent inside the room is the best way to go about it

if so what size and what kind of fans/ac unit etc.

thanks in advance for replies +rep.

Just one light? That's it?

If so, 1 x Air-cooled hood, 1 x 6" fan, 1 x 6" carbon filter and 6" ducting to connect. Parabolic fan is optional.

well i only have a 1000watt hps ballast with bulb/hood,for the hood and light i have a ducting that has a built in fan to cool the light.

i could buy another 1k light setup.and since i have the room for it,why not lol

how much would the electric bill go up if i had 2 1k lights and the t5?+ac/fans in the flower..

My outside room is light tight so I just have a bunch of hooks on the ceiling and hang reflectix from the hooks around the lights and plants. The grow area has expanded from 3 lights to 10 lights. I just keep rearranging the reflectix walls to match the new setup. And it is stiff enough to guide air also.
Works well for a room within a room. Vegging is done in another room entirely.

Outside and inside views. I don't care about smell and have 14 fans running with those 10 lights. Only 7 lights in this picture, it keeps changing. Easy to do.

how much noise do all those fans produce lol

i do want to control smell,so i will be buying the carbon scrubber/fan combo for exhausting

last time i used a whole spare room just for vegging, and with it sealed off,it leaked a lot of smell whenever you opened the door or window due to it being sealed up,it built up aroma..

with the vegging im doing in my walk in closet, its not sealed off or anything, my walkin closet is located in the bathroom section of my master bedroom, which has its own door aswell.and window cracked..

and in my room i dont smell anything..temps are 75f,humidity stay from 50-60 with the humidifier i got

so ive decided to use the whole room and just make a panda film door with a zipper...

i will vent with a high-output 8'' carbon can filter

and the plan is to add a 1k later

Have a look at the thread in my signature. There are a lot of videos there that will help you. I recommend looking at the Jorge Cervantes ultimate grow 1 and also Mr Green: I grow chronic. Them two videos should teach you everything you need to know about setting up your grow room.
