He thinks even bad publicity is good. No problem.
i completely agree about sow's pricing, it's much more than pretty much any bank i've used, and same with their selection.. the one nice thing is, they have a few breeders other spots don't carry..
you're also not the first person i've heard having issues with their service glad, that's for sure..

i've used them in the past, and will probably do so in the future if they have something i want and i actually have the cash for a change..

I got 30% off, received the order, and reported it. I've never suggested anyone else place an order, just sharing my experience. That's the idea of the forum, is it not? Two things to you, doobius1:

If you couldn't discern the sarcasm in the reply to greenghost420, then you didn't want to see it. You also likely glazed over the post where I mentioned my posting history is full of defenses for The Attitude, Sannie's, and a thumbs up to SoS. All you'd have had to do was look, but that would have meant truth getting in the way of your fiction....and you wouldn't want that, would you?

As Paul Simon noted "A man hears what he wants to hear, and disregards the rest".

Well, as I said, I purchased during a 30% off sale. $5 - $8 higher a pack became lower than anyone else, and they were one of the last places I've seen that still had some Agent Orange packs. Looking at all the grief, I shouldn't be happy...yet I am. :eyesmoke:

Well, glad, I mentioned you and your disputes w/ this company, and their response to me when I asked them [before I ordered]. Their response about you was reasonable to me.
Am I reading this correctly?

You asked SOW about another one of their customers (Gladstone) and they discussed Glad's business dealings/experiences with you? Is that right? Does SOW have any kind of confidentiality policies? Why would any bean bank divulge any kind of customer info to another customer??????? Sounds creepy if that's what happened.

Does Gladstone even use the "Gladstone" moniker when ordering from bean banks? Do you know his real name for the inquiry or did you just ask SOW, "Hey tell me about one of your customers named Gladstone." And did SOW respond with, "Ya that Gladstone customer was a real dick. Let me tell you all about him...."

Either I misinterpreted what you posted, or SOW is a mess.

Finally, if I called SOW about doing some bean business and asked them for info about another customer... say for instance, Amos Otis, would that be cool? Would it be cool if SOW shared information about Amos with me?

Now - to get back to your complaints. You've repeatedly bashed them as being over priced. Yet what has you all worked up, is that you tried to make a purchase just the same. They wouldn't take your credit card, offered you other payment options, and you refused them. Then you became a dick. Case closed.

You've mistaken. If you care about facts, it's these:

I e-mailed Sow and said I was interested in their 30% off deal, but that I'd never ordered from them, and that every thread I was able to dig up was littered with posts by someone who had several complaints. I asked for their side of the story. I never mentioned anyone by name [or moniker], but they were well aware of the posts I mentioned. Nothing discussed was anything other than what gladstone had already posted about their company; and their side of it.

If you don't think that's fair, I don't know what to tell you.

Why don't I sound like a one time customer? How many times do you have to order from someone before you understand 'payment and shipping options"?

[ pre-paid cash and money orders are two other options, to answer your question ]

It apparantly made no difference if your credit card worked elsewhere, did it? So arguing with them about it - and getting nowhere - made you the unhappy customer who couldn't get an order of - according to you - over priced beans.

Talk about going in circles. LMAO :finger:

What're you're favorite breeders...I see you've been around the bean block.
don't mind me and my blind hate for all things sub, i'm a bit silly with it at times.. it all depends on what you're looking for.. if you like plants with gobs of smell and taste, and lots of bag appeal, sub is for you.. if you want potent smoke, and stable genetics, like i try to look for, yeah, not so much..
