It's tough. They are two different shows. I like South Park because of the crude social humor; I like Family Guy for the non-linear story telling. Depends on what mood I am in.

I am really digging The Cleveland Show - even though tonights episode was a little off.

well yes it is pointless but isnt that the point of both shows? some family guy episodes are dedicated to just one subject like south park but the vast majority is just like a bunch of short episodes within one, to provide variety. perfect for a stoner. lol
