South florida backyard grow advise please

Hello fellow growers , I started my first grow this year of some sour diesel bagseed , she's a short bushy plant less than a foot tall , she started flowering 4weeks ago and has two main colas , smells amazing , first started with soilex soil then transplanted to miracle gro organic soil , added some bone meal too , my question is , why is she so short but with a thick ass stem .? and how can I make her buds swell up more ?they seem to be hugging the stem , I will try to provide pics when I can , and also her fan and water leaves are so close together since she's so small should I trim them or cut them so lower budsites receive light too? Any advice will help me tremendously and wil b appreciated thank u,Peace

First of all, bag seed sour diesel in So.Flo.... probably aint real sour. ijs. but for advice?.... back yard grow, in so flo?.... advice is, don't do it lol.

shes a pretty little plant. I would trim off some of those huge fans leaves haha but other than that it looks like your in for some quality smoke.

She smells amazing I sprouted her in January , I should've waited she had so much potential she stayed short and stocky , would u recommend nutes or let nature take its course?

Nutes never hurt as long as you don't over due it. You could've waited and gone through the whole grow season and easily yielded triple off of her but hey, you can't change the past and now you have some free smoke for this outdoor season.

Yes , but I'm afraid she might go back to veg since the daylight hours are just going to keep increasing until late July here , should I wait it out?

Does anyone know if rain impacts the potency of the buds? Because its been raining couple days in a row down here and some of the frostyness in the leaves are fading

im growing fire og kush, a hawaiian sativa cross and some other kush crosses. if it reverts its gona go back to full blown vegging stage and start throwing out new branches from the bud sites. basically you will go back to square one and have to go through the veg phase and then back to the flower phase. the only way to control it and keep it in the flower phase is to artificially shorten the day, ie put the plant in a dark room after 12 hours of daylight.

if it sprouted in jan it basically went 12/12 from seed for feb and march, thats probably why it stayed so short. now in april we're getting 13+ hrs of light and its just gona get longer and longer.

if your plant starts throwing out single bladed leaves and curled mutant leaves then thats a sure sign its revegging. look at this thread for visuals of what to look out for:

https://www.rollitup.org/advanced-marijuana-cultivation/429638-re-vegging-after-harvesting-your.html

itll stretch your grow time out by alot but you will probably end up with more bud then if the plant finished now.

Yea some water leaves r curlingI also was wondering since it looks like she will revegg what should I do with the buds she already has? Do I cut n dry the ones already formed? Or should I just leave as is ? Because I'm not really sure but I read somewhere that if a plant does revert its a good idea to cut off the flowers beacuse they will die since al the energy is for growing ? Thanks n advanced for the priceless information

Looks like a hybrid sour diesel, add 1/2 the amount of nutes, and stop 2 weeks before harvest so your plants don't taste like chemicals, She's doing great, short and stocky are just genetics, sometimes representative of an indica plant.

If it rains too much I would cover it to help with mold or rot...water won't hurt the trichs and shouldn't make less frostyness because the trics are oil and doesn't mix with water.....if she's re-vegging you got time to cut more and get em to that size by sept...leaves should start shooting out the buds....singles, as mentioned earlier, maybe some threes..if you don't want it to go to veg outside before summer you have to auto-darken, that is, only allow her 12 hours of sun even in the middle of summer by blocking it out if you don't feel like lugging that big pot in and out.

Yea she smells like diesel but I smell I hint of blueberries on her sometimes and in the sunlight she has like a blueish tint to her
Can't wait to try her out when time calls for it

You're growing weed OUTDOORS in a state that carries some of the heaviest fines for cultivation in the US? Wow you're insane.
