I was 2 when Reagan was elected, I don't give a shit about him or anyone who refers to him..
Don't worry, I don't particularly care about you either. :)

How do you know if all of those 20 million illegals are employed...
Well, the vast majority did come here to work. But you are correct in that a few did come here to commit crime. So are ALL estimated 20 million illegals employed? Nope. The vast majority of them? Sure. Because if they were not working they would go back to Mexico, as what happened once our national recession began. Illegal immigration actually had a reversal for a brief period of time as illegals who could not find work, primarily in construction, went back home.

...what if only half are and another 20 percent receive welfare of any form?
Ah, the old "welfare argument". I love that one. Well, what do you mean by welfare? Are you talking about Section 8 housing subsidies? That is a form of welfare.

I would invite you to call HUD (the government entity that runs the Section 8 housing subsidies) and ask them how you can help get an illegal alien qualified for the program. But since Section 8 requires anyone who applies to establish legal residency in order to partake of the program I doubt you would have any luck. Illegal immigrants do not qualify for Section 8 welfare.

What about food stamps? That is welfare.

Well to be eligible for food stamps, an individual must meet the requirements specified in 7 CFR 273.4, "Citizenship and Alien Status" and in accordance with Public Law 107-171 "Farm Security and Rural Investment Act of 2002," Title IV - Nutrition Programs, Subtitle D - Miscellaneous, Section 4401. Essentially, this means illegals do not qualify. So, no food stamps for illegals.

Well, what about subsidized breakfast and lunches for children of illegals? That is a form of welfare. Do their children get that?

Well, partially true. The person applying has to have proof of legal status, but can choose to check a box on the form saying that they do not have a social security number. If the rest of their information is upheld at face value their child would be eligible. At any point the file could be pulled for review at which point the eligibility could be challenged and benefits denied. According to the local administrator I just got off the phone with, subsidized meals are usually allowed to pass through the system unless something serves to bring the parents to the attention of the authorities because in the end it is food being used to help out children of parents who have an established financial need. I guess most school administrators don't want to force a child to go hungry if they have a program available to rectify the situation.

What about garnering SSI benefits from the Social Security Administration? That is an entitlement program and therefore a form of welfare.

Well even though the 1996 welfare reform laws included provisions making this more difficult, it still occurs. But according to the social security administration, more money is being paid into the system by illegals than will be withdrawn by them making illegals a positive sum game as far as the SSA is concerned. In other words, illegals are pretty much getting the shaft. They will pay more into SSI as a group than they will withdraw as a group.

Now if your particular state has some sort of state welfare program for illegals …. Well that is your problem. Or, if your state uses federal funds in a loose manner in order to provide welfare benefits to illegals … again your problem. I suggest you vote out your state representatives and state senators and start over.

Where do you get 20 million from?
Depends on the source you use. Numbers vary from as low as 7 million to as high as 20 million. Since you are obviously incensed by illegals, I figured I would go to the high end of the estimates just so you couldn’t bitch that I was low-balling the number.

Illegals are cared for medically, academically and socially via tax payers not to mention the net deficit they cause in taxes paid vs benefits received.
Medically? Only in emergency rooms. General health care? Nope. Not unless your state has some law requiring such. Again that makes it your problem not mine. My state does not.

Academically? My state requires the following documents to register a child into the school system: (1) immunization records; (2) proof of residence; (3) birth certificate; (4) a request is made for the child’s social security number, but federal laws keep this from being mandated; (5) hearing and vision tests.

You can’t provide these documents in my state? Your child can not be registered into school. If your state does otherwise … well again, your problem, not mine. I would suggest you vote out the people in your state capital and start over.

When I say "serious shit" it's not a threat but I happen to believe that a small population of Americans will not stand by and let this happen, myself not included.
