i live in new york too, and it doesnt have the best sour d anymore. go to cali where they crossed it and made it a better strain. of course, you can grow that cali weed in new york too and call it NYC.

wow this thread is super old. when i first looked at the first pic i was like that is not sour d.then i read through the thread and everyone said the same thing lol. sour d heads know their medicine. sour d is the truth. funny story i started datin this girl and was always puffin sour d before i came over.wasnt able to get it for a min always missed out, then after about a year or so i grabbed a cut and grew it out. she was like this is what you and your ride alwys smelled like when we first met!! its like that once u see it,smell it or smoke it you will see the truth.

Not only is this thread old but it is filled with tons of misinformation. There isn't one accurate post as to the origins of Sour D.

In my opionion the Sour Diesel that we get up here in Canada at least, it isnt really among my favourites, it has a nice fresh taste mixed with a sort of jaw numbing feeling after pulling a cone of it(jaw numbing being in the taste rather then a feeling) but it also has a harshness to it, at least in my experiences and I've smoked a few batches of my buddies sour D
