Hey whats up everyone, here my sour diesel grow, im not sure if theyre both sour D bc i got a bunch of clones and almost all of the were sour d except a few.. one plant is liiiiight green and the other two are darrrk green.. this camera doesnt show the difference that much but ill have better/more pictures soon.. its been in flowering for about 4-5 weeks. I have a 400 watt hps with 2- 75 watt hps' on the sides and a couple CFLs. I am using Advance Nutes carboload, voodoo juice, and big bud. Also using a little bit of fox farm nutes which are big bloom and a little bit of the open sesame, beastie bloomz and soon to be cha ching.. not much of the F.F. tho and mostly advanced.. the soil is Foxfarm ocean forest mixed with organic soil Just Right that has some coco in it. enough talk, ill have better pictures soon. Oh yea the nuggs on the left plant (light green) are hard as a rock already.. theyre gonna be some dense ass nuggs. The left plant has definitely matures faster then dark green. Comments are welcomed/ wanted.

Really nice looking plants, datkid. Kudos! Sour Diesel's my favorite strain EVER and I'm planning on growing some as soon as I get into a bigger apartment (hopefully in the next two or three months). Just a couple questions, if you don't mind. First, how has it been growing the Sour Diesel? I know that it has a reputation for being kind of finicky and not the easiest plant to grow. Have you had any problems along the way? Anything you noticed about growth patterns, nutrients, temperatures etc etc that are different and/or more of an issue than with other strains? I know it has a tendency to reeeaaallllyyyy stretch in flower, but beyond that, anything else you noticed or gave you trouble? Your plants don't look as lanky as most of the Sour Diesels that I've seen. I wonder if that's maybe because of the fact that you're running a 400w lamp and can keep it closer to the tops, as opposed to most grows that use 600's or 1000's. How far away have you been keeping your light? Also, how tall were they when you flowered? I only ask because they look kind of short and, like I said, everything I've read about Sour Diesel says that they stretch like a bitch, like 200% or more. So... Yeah, just wondering.

Anyway, sorry for all the questions, I've just been researching the fuck out of Sour Diesel, trying to get as much info as possible and hopefully keep any issues I may have to a minimum when I start it. What's weird is that for such a popular strain, there isn't as much info on it as you'd think. And again, wonderful looking plants!

Thanks for all of the positive feedback. I wish i had the camera i took pictures of my last crop with.. ill try and get that to take pictures with bc they look A LOT better then the pictures actually show, no joke. Theres so much crystals that it looks like drops of water theres so much and how shiny they are.. but to some of the questions, i have had no problems at all.. there was a pebble in the road early on, my leaves did what they call "the claw" and curled down, but what the problem was is that it needed to be repotted into a bigger pot.. once i did that it went back to %100 healthy in less then 3 days.. Thats it..NO PROBLEMS whatsoever otherwise.. it was a vigorous plant.. grows fast and strong.. Very thick and strong stems. My plant is not lanky at all but its not a short stalky plant by any means.. They stretched some when entering 12/12, but no more than any other plant would. I just got done measuring my plants and they are at 2 feet right now, from top of soil. For veg and the first 2 weeks of flowering i was only using 100 watt hps and a bunch of cfl's.. then i got the 400w hps and added that about 3 weeks ago. The light is 18 inches from the canopy.. I keep a fan on them all day tho. I wish i wouldve had the 400w the whole time, i can only imagine how it would be if i did. Some other characteristics are that the nugs are VERY dense and VERY sticky and smell amazing.. when i get done looking at them my fingers stick to everything.. Hopefully will have more pictures within a couple days. if u have any more questions or comments, fire away.

Yeah she is sticky and stanky......I hit mine with bushmaster the first 3 days of 12/12 and they stayed short and bushy.....really frosty too,I foliar feed them with purple maxx snowstorm.....makes them even frostier.....and they have been pretty easy to grow, this is my first time growing sour diesel......I had heard she was a picky one but I have seen the opposite.....she is pretty hardy.....

Not to be a hater but are you 100% sure it's sour D? It looks way too indica-ish for Sour D.

They should have a more sativa type of growth pattern as such:

ok well here was the situation. i got 20 clones and 17 of them were "sour diesel" and the person i got them from had a VERY nice and large scale situation going on so i think he would have no reason to lie... the chances of all three of the clones i kept being the three that were sour d are very low.. (i couldnt keep them all due to space) BUUUT to be perfectly honest with you i could care less what the name of my plant is.. yea it helps to label things but ive never got into the name thing for this reason bc a lot of people are wrong or bullshittin.. for me to believe that my sour d plant is going to be the same as someones across the sea, or across 10 states is hard for me to believe. that being said i dont want people to freak out and "say what do you know, thats the most important thing." bc i do understand that if you have created a strain or had seeds from a strain youre positive then thats different, and yes im sure there are people out there that have a seed that has the correct name for it... that being said....This is the PLANT im growing.

ok i have a question.. one of my plants has very light leaves.. i know that its not a problem bc i have seen some strains like this and i know its not a problem bc it looks and is healthy.. im just wondering what does it mean about the genetics when the plant has light leaves like this... (i believe this particular plant isnt a sour d)

Thanks for answering my questions. And I agree with sandman, it doesn't look like any Sour Diesel I've ever seen, although they look still look fantastic.
