I use the sugaree not the sour D. I had a friend use the Sour D and switched over to sugaree, (I don't know why he switched.) Its nice though, smooth taste plus its OMRI rated.

Alright gonna try to revive this.
Is this just like any other product on the market claiming to be the superior end-all carbo loader additive with a small percent of Soluble Potash.

I have in front of me:
Sour-Dee (from cutting edge Solutions)
Hi-Brix molasses (from Earth Juice)
Sweet (from botanicare)
Bud-candy (from advanced nutrient),
Flora Nectar (From General Hydro)

I'm told they do all the same thing they just take a different path but they also all meet at the same conclusion.

what are your thoughts and understanding of these products.
I know Budcandy has 3 things going for it thats not normaly found in the others.

I was using Bud Candy for a while. When I ran out I ordered more on Ebay, and the seller screwed me so I started using Molasses temporary. I felt like something was missing, so I modified things a bit. Now I make my own Bud Candy:

PayPal refunded me my money for the Bud Candy I never got from the bunk seller. Maybe I should leave him some positive feedback for saving me so much money. My Bud Candy brew costs around $10 a gallon and I use 10mL/gallon of the brew in feedings. AN Bud Candy is around $70 a gallon and it's about the same ratio of 10mL/gallon.

My brew is equal parts of the above 3 items then water that down to a 50% dilution with H2O. (ie: 1cup of each above + 3 cups water)

I asked about it at the grow store I go to. The guy said its basically the same as other carb additives, but similar to botanicares flavored "sweet" line it has something in it that supposedly enhances the odor of lemony/fruity strains. I use cutting edge but I use bud candy, since it also has magnesium and B in it. I find it kind of irritating that even on the cutting edge website (which hasnt been updated since like 2007), they dont say anything about the sour dee, (or sugaree,or solor gaia or g-rex and t-rex). Its kind of sketchy..like they cant talk about half of their products.

Thanks Bustin Scales510

Yes I know of the pains of trying to get info out of the companies.
I recently went to the Maximum Yield LB hydro expo and was trying to get all the boothes to say they were better than X-company and then have them explain it.
after which I asked X-company why they were better.
I got "flip flop" answers. There seems to be some unwriten code about not saying who is better than the other.

They can never say exactly why or how thier product is good for the plant, they try to use big words untill I straight out tell them to cut the bull and give me the bare bones answer.
I tell you, I have never seen more "deer in headlights looks".
