You might find this interesting. I’ve spent a lifetime around #1 & #2 diesel and never smelled cannabis that smells like diesel. However I love Sour D and was about to start a search. I’ve tasted a little of all these in this article.

Tangie rocks and makes really tasty dab. Great bud or concentrate. Very popular here.

Just chopped my first Cherry Bomb plants earlier this month. Fruity tasting and kickass. You’ll get blazed. Those really bear heavy. I mean heavy. 2 of the 4 required staking at the end. I have a CB plant now in the tent for a second run of it. Vegged it outside this summer here in Alaska. Stems much thicker than the first run. I will be running this again from seed. Not set up well for cloning in winter.

Sour D was always a favorite of mine too so when I started out I tried growing a couple different breeds. The few I tried that were supposed to be the original NYC Sour Diesel strain were just ok in the flavor dept with average potency. Could have been lack of experience at the time but none of them blew me away.
Then I tried Devils Harvest Strawberry Sour Diesel....distinctive, delicious, the definition of dank. I literally drool in my bong before taking a puff. Potent and resinous; makes great hash. Not much of a yielder but the flavors make up for that. Compact bud structure; finished nuggets are dense. SSD needs of LST training and good lighting to produce nice stacked nodes that can help max out on yield. Easy to grow and finishes in 10 weeks. Not a full sativa though; it's like a 60/40 hybrid.
Liked it so much I crossed the DH SSD with a KOS candyman haze strain. This changed the flavor a bit sweeter yet the recognizable Sour D lemony-fuel profile is still there on the exhale. Just made a big ol pile of gold keif out of it.....delicious!

Cherry bomb was another strain that blew me away. Smells exactly like cherries and it is potent AF. If I ever had to order more seeds I would get CB again.
