yea bro just go back to 12\12 lighting you should be fine. better to give it what it needs now which is 12/12 not dark to make up for the fuck up that will just stress it more unless you like trannies :peace:

I was under the impression that the extra hours of light wud be more damaging. Extra hours of darkness do naturally occur in nature, but not usually extra hours of light.

your right but getting back on a normal schedual is a must its not used to naturrally occuring things its used to a schedual fuck with the schedual fuck up your plant wether its more light ore more dark its still stress so its best to give it what it needs which is 12 hrs light and 12 hrs dark you cant make up for extra light with extra dark its just more stress if your lucky it will only add a week to your flower time

12 hours of dark is all they need, so no extra. at 12 hour the chemicl that makes flowers hit crutical and tells the plant to flower. Ligth will reset the 12 hour timer. So you just have two days of no flower stuff. The later in flower that this happens the less you notice, Early in flower just delays sex and extends flower time.

just chalk it up to two days bad grow.

Edit: as for getting back on schedual:

opt 1) rob the light 2 hours a day untill yopu are back (10on/12off)
opt 2) give an up to 18 hour day and 12 hours of light (18on/12off)

some thing like that (I'm to stone to do the exact math time cal in my head so pick eater and adjust times as needed just always do 12 hours of dark and 8 to 20 hours of day for resets.

Mother Nature is a fickle bitch. Ever see one of those incredibly bright full moons? That dark dreary mid-morning? Go back to your regular schedule, with a NEW TIMER! 2 days in a row shouldnt make that big a difference. I think you will be just fine. HAPPY TRAILS!

I don't think they really get used to a schedule. I'm pretty sure it's mostly challenge/response(cause/effect).

I've left plants for days at a time in darkness with no real issues(they stretch a bit, and new growth stays a lighter green, nothing major). Most healthy plants can tolerate weeks of darkness. Lots of the tropical islands have daily rain storms, and these regions grow killer smoke. Chilling in the sun one day and shade the next isn't going to stress it.

What I do is always continue with 10-12 hours of darkness if there's a major light fuck up during what should be the dark period. If you catch it within 2 hours, you're good. Just resume as normal. For light you can range from 0-20 hours(as long as it adds up nicely), but darkness is required in solid amounts for most strains to flower properly.
