Good question Chap, I dont think it would matter what time of the day you cut, because essentially you are god and creating the day yourself. Before chop i would leave the crop in pure darkness for 48 hrs - then chop.

There is a few factors that determine when most growers would chop - its gonna stink! so maybe its not a good idea to do it 1st thing of the day, maybe late afternoon would be a good time. Its really up to you.

the reason people chop in the beginning of the light cycle is because the mobile elements go from the roots to the plant throughout the day (since thats when their needed). when it becomes dark again, the mobile elements get sent back down to the roots.

The short answer is yes it matters. Trichs are used by the plant to block UV rays.

It's a well known fact Light degrades THC, so harvesting before the lights come on is a good idea.

Bricktop confirmed this a while back.

Get up early tomorrow! :blsmoke:
