Someone please help......cooling problem

Whats up riu. I have a closet grow going on with two plants.i am using a 400w mh on a la diva auto and special kush #1. The closet is 5'×2' i put a portable ac in there and made a homemade exaust up to the attic also a 10'' ocolating fan. I believe my ac unit is going out because when i placed the homemade venting hose to it it blows hot air. Besides i found the ac on the street, but it worked fine out of the closet but now not so good. I used a infa red thermomenter and took a reading about 2'' above the plants and temps are between 85-87 is this to warm for my girls because i have nothing else to do about it my sk#1 is in veg while my la diva is about 6'' tall and has her first thre or four white hairs please help.....

While in Veg i keep em mid 70's while in flowering between 78-84.

In my opinion i think they can survive but they are not under optimum conditions.

I am running a tad high at 81-82 Degrees

Temp is consistent with the light about 12" above the plant.
I am running a 400 HPS in a 3'x3'x6' tent supplemented with 90 watts T5 CFL's
Without adding a dedicated A/C pumping into the tent I can't lower my temps below 81-82.

I will stay in this Configuration for this plant.

I may add the A/C and up my wattage to 600 watt HPS for future.

I've run several grows where temperature has been 75-85, I yielded 5-7oz per grow (only grow 1 plant) Also, unless you have an IR temperature gauge/gun you aren't going to get an accurate reading from a thermometer. For example the temp my thermometer says now is 82 but the IR says the tops of my plants are a nice 74.

Thats funny i also took a reading on the la diva leaf with the infa red and it read 76 go figure......
