Like others said - you did right. I may have added some cloneX or rooting powder to the stem before applying the tape but as long as the tape is Air-Tight, wrapped around the break - all you can do is wait & pray.

The buds are loose & flimsy because the energy is going back into healing the broken limb, that branch isn't going to bring the buds back to life until the stem begins to mend. Just sit back & watch.

After 5-7 days take the tape off - slowly - to check healing of the branch - I think most farmers have had to deal with a light dropping on a main cola or similiar issues. Cannabis is good at regenerating itself! Good Luck!

I just left my greenhouse door open last night and the rain on half the plant was to much weight on my plant. It split in the middle. I tied the plant to the ceiling and taped it up. I had planned to harvest in 2 weeks. Not sure if I should go ahead and harvest it now. I wanted a little more growth but if it is not going to do much because of the break for 2 weeks I may as well harvest it now. Any suggestions?

im here bc i did abt same thing to my main fork.. i tried tying it to split a bit and let some light to others coming up.. and crack.. snapped right tf off.. weak intersection.. i tossed a little tape around.. left it bent a little and w.e. itll either grow.. or all that energy will start shootin elsewhere .. lol i got too many females anyways.. went 12 for 14 left me screwed.. ill just send it to the crappy light lol someone moved up.
