So this will be my second grow as i try to learn to become more pacient and look for signs of male and female being that i got a hermi because of my male... But anyway i have a closet 2 feet deep by 3 feet wide and 10 feet tall i have two sets of two tube Cfl lights on each side and 2 above the plants im doing 3 plants with fox farm soil. i have a temp gauge and moist gauge just wondering on my last grow i used stera strength during veg but nothing during flower and have heard people mixing sugar and water and molasses together and was wondering when that would take place and how much to a gallon.? also what kind of nutes can i use during flowering and will i have to get more bulbs or am i useing more already the 2 singles are 42 watt cfls and the tubes im not too sure about. or should i just use 6 42 watt? 1 on each side and 2 above? and what nutes or do i use some during the veg period or just during flowering? Thanks After i get my help ill be starting a journal im doing sour Desil:joint:

the more light the better also what kind of ventilation do you have and for that set up. Get a fan in there blowing on the plants to build up their strength. probably 150-250w hps is plenty but use it when flowering cfls and flouro is fine for veg

this is a feeding schedule that has been working well for me, maybe it will help you.
I also agree more light is better and ventilation is key, i currently grow in a room about the same size as yours and have been using flouro tubes and cfl's (4 4' tubes cool white and 4 cfls in warm white) just changed the lighting to a 400watt MH and have seen a great difference in the growth of my girls in just the last 10 days or so. for the vent i run a 6" inline to help bring fresh air in and I use a 2 speed 8inch 500 cfm to exhaust heat and stinks. so far it has been working well for me.
I got the feeding schedule from a friend on another forum and since i jumped to the FF nutes I can my girls have peaked up and are looking like they will produce a nice crop in the end. hope this helps.

Big Buddy’s Feeding Schedule:

edited to add: I also run a twin window type fan low blowing through the branches of my plants, this helps to build nice thick branches as it forces the plant to bulk up to become more stable.when i got my this plant that i started with it was extremely stressed and stretched almost beyond saving but with some careful work it came back strong and healthy and gave me 4 nice clones (well 3 and one in the making i hope)...good luck

The fox farm nutes are not overly intense in the veg period, that’s one thing that i notice a lot of people have trouble with is under feeding in veg. This does not mean hit her full strength right off the bat or anything, but don’t fear the feed in this stage.

No feedings at all until you reach the large containers, and have been in them for a week.

Schedule: (plants that grow very slowly at first may not need to be fed until later).

Until 1 week in 1 gal pots, no nutes.
And this is going by a feed/water - feed/water schedule: (Every other watering will be a feeding)

1st feeding:
2 tbsp big bloom
1 tsp blackstrap molasses (unsulphered)
The worst I've seen at this level is minor tip burn, and only once i think)

2nd feeding:
1.5 tsp grow big
2 tbsp big bloom
1 tsp molasses

3rd feeding:
2 tsp grow big
2 tbsp big bloom
1 tsp molasses

4th feeding:
2.5 tsp grow big
2 tbsp big bloom
1 tsp molasses.

Now I keep it at this stage in veg. unless i start to see the leaf color lighten too much, or a blotchy purpling on the stem, this is often looked at as P deficiencies, but they show up as a deep purple. The blotchy just means its using slightly more nutes than it has and it wants a little more. You can move the grow big up to 3 tsp on each feed if you want, it shouldn’t burn, but you may not need it, and this is with a flush each 2-3 weeks as well. This schedule pretty well continues until the last 1-2 feeding in veg., then I try to get some of the open sesame in, it really does get the flowers started quicker, I don’t find it makes the plants finish any faster, but you have more time for bud development, and therefore, more bud.
so for just before the switch to flower it goes like this...

Last veg feedings:
2.5, or 3 tsp grow big, whatever level your at
1 tsp molasses
1 small scoop of open sesame(the one provided in the jar, forget the measurement)

For the most part that’s not too different from the schedule that fox farm gives, its in flower that it really changes -- not much -- but still.

FLOWERING

1st feeding:
2 tsp tiger bloom
1 tsp grow big
1 tbsp big bloom
1 tbsp molasses
1 small scoop open sesame

2nd feeding:
2 tsp tiger bloom
1.5 tsp grow big
1 tbsp big bloom
1 tbsp molasses
1 s scoop open sesame

3rd feeding:
same as 2nd

4th feeding:
2 tsp tiger bloom
2 tsp grow big
1 tbsp big bloom
1 tbsp molasses
1 s scoop beastie bloom
(never use more than this, this is the nutrient that they are warning about when ff say less is more, you may even want to back it off a little from this)

5th feeding to end of week 5-6:(this depends on how long your strain will go for)
same as 4th feeding.

week 5/6 feeding on to start of flush:
2 tsp tiger bloom
1 tbsp big bloom
1 tbsp molasses

============

Hope this helps bro! Let me know if you need anything!

I was looking at going FF but had heard mixed reviews on it On my first grow i literaly used nothing didnt yeild much but good result quality wise. but this time im going to do it right. When you mean first feed on veg is after 1 week when i transplant to biger pots but when i feed them the
2 tbsp big bloom
1 tsp blackstrap molasses (unsulphered)

Is this mixed with a gallon and lasts until it is gone? last time i grew a gallon would last me 4 to 5 days not long but that means it would get about 2 to 3 feeding of the same thing is that ok? or am i confused Thanks for the help

Lighting wise so maybe it would be better for me to only keep thje 4 tubes and buy a Mh And also buy a 400 Watt hps for flowering? Or buy the Hps for flowering and just buy more cfl?

what I did with mixing the nutes is i pre mixed 2 TBSP big bloom in a 1qt soup container and did the same with the mollases. after they were mixed really well i added them to a 1 gallon container and topped off with 6.5-6.8 ph h2o. you dont want to mix any of the FF nutes together until they are pre mixed with h2o this will cause problems for your plants.

basically i was told not to feed nutes to seedlings and to wait till i up-potted and to wait at least one week. so for the first week i kept it straight water and started the feeding cycle on the second week. my plants require watering 2x per week so what i did was water on the first week (2x) second week i fed (2x) 3rd week i watered(2x) 4th week i fed and so on. this has worked well for me so far as this has been my first indoor grow with these nutes and I can honestly say things are not bad and the information came from a very reliable source with 100's of pounds under his belt.
I mix my nutes one gallon at a time as well just makes it easier for me as I have a plant that is 2 weeks ahead of others. i run that gallon till its empty. mzke sure you read up on flushing your plants as well. dont want to end up with a nute lockout.

hope it helps, it helped me.
