Can one of the conservatives on the board explain to me how abortion coincides with small government?

If you believe in small government, doesn't that mean you should only care (regardless of your personal beliefs) if the government does say something about it? It's not the governments decision, right? I mean, what if some wacky religious person got millions of people together that believed that jacking off resulted in the same sort of thing they say abortion leads to [dead kiddies]..? What if they lobbied for criminalizing whacking it in your own private life? ...

Lol, you see where I'm going with that.. It'd be nuts, just like it is with abortion.. Abortion isn't any different than a broken arm, so why should Bobby-Joe down the streets opinion about what the fuck I do with my broken arm matter when it comes to what the fuck I actually do with my own broken arm? It's my arm dickhead, just because you believe some demons will take mah soul or some bullshit if I heal it with modern medicine doesn't mean you get to tell me what to do with it.

My point was that your post title implied that the entire GOP said the stupid host remark, and yet it was only one GOPer. Maybe the rest of the GOP thinks like that. I don't know. But it was only one member that said it.

I did say that he was an extremist, but I didn't mean to imply that he was a total outlier.

The problem is that republicans don't shout down this nonsense. They paint themselves into a corner with two options a) remain silent or b) agree but by remaining silent what they're doing is just silently agreeing. They know they're base pretty well

Pada, I admit that I lean to the conservative side and I don't care how many people want to get rid of their unborn children. I have mentioned before that I think there should be abortion centers set up like fast food joints 24/7 including holidays. It keeps the population down and will shrink the democratic base so what is there not to like. For awhile I didn't like the part of my tax dollars being spent but now I don't care anymore. just so you know. Lets getter done.
