Some Grow room Design Help

What up Homies

Im going to convert a spare closet into my grow space. I was hoping you guys could help me with some things.

The Room is about 5x3x6 and I'm just planning on doing CFL's the whole time. Electricity is paid for so I wouldn't want to run up my light bill.

How many girl's do you think is best for a room that size? I'm hoping four.

Is a 100 cfm exhaust fan good enough?

Also for those who have grow closets what do you think is the best way to rig your lighting system for fast light adjusting.

That size area is too much for cfl's. If you want to use cfl's you need to make a box or partition that area down much smaller. 2x2x4high or so with every surface reflective.

IF you want the most harvest from cfl's you should run 9 or so little plants and veg them a very very short time. Let them veg to maybe 6" and flower to 12 or so. If you try to do bigger plants you'll just get buds on the top and almost nothing worth using below 4" of the tops.

To use that full space you should have a 400 hps minimum like newgrowth says, he's right.

Also 100cfm will be enough only for cfl's or 250w hid, and only if the intake air is reasonably cool. On a hot day it won't be enough unless you intake from a basement or crawlspace under the house.
