So your exhaust will be inside and your solar power panel outside ?

Can you guarantee it wont cut out , run out of power ?

If my exhaust ever cuts out ima in big trouble ?

Exhaust/inline fans do not cost alot to run ,

Its the lights Umbre,

do you have any solar powered 1000w ballasts ?
this would be of interest,

shame on you for 2 identical threads .....

If you want solar powered stuff on your grow grow room you need to get a battery bank for it or a UPS battery back up system with an inverter to convert DC power into AC power.

At the moment running a high wattage light off of solar is impossible you would need to go micro hydro for running those 1kw lamps and a battery bank and such.

If you have a big enough battery bank and micro hydro you can run 1kw lamos off of it witch is awsome
Yeah that would be pretty cool ,
seeing some of the size of the panels some ppl i have seen having fitted in the uk to part power their homes are massive , they take up 1 side of an angled tile roof , companys were fitting them for free for some customers , on a part power part return to the power source deal , but the Goverment has pulled the plug on the deal classing it as illegal , so now the customers are left with the bill or panels taken away , i nearly went for the deal for obvious reasons , i am now glad i did not ....

Yea. If you are into hands on stuff. Look for solar cells and build your own panels. Here a single 100w panel will cost around $300 to $400. If you can find a deal like me $25 for 25 2 inch cells to make a 10w to 16w panel you could get enough cells to build a 120w to 256w system. If you live by a river or creek micro hydro is the cheapest way to go hands down. A 600w to 800w micro hydro system will cost you around $2000 to $2500 but here it would take around 3.6 years to 3.8 years depending on your setup that you chose.

I plan on going solar as much as possible in 2012 so I have done a lot or research on it.

Always remember this. Go cheap don't expect much of a solar system you get. Spend the money on quality stuff and you'll get more out of your investment.

I sell a "Solar Fan" that mounts inside a reflector at one end (opposite bulb) but is specific to one model of reflector. http://www.hydrofarm.com/pb_detail.php?itemid=12264 It could fit many other reflectors as you put the panel components where you want with self-stick tape. Easy to install and cheap too comparatively. They will rob the reflect-ability of that end however. Me thinks more of a gimmick; for the man /woman who has everything.
