soil vs. hydro: Does soil really make it taste better?

So im looking for anyones first hand experience with the difference in taste when the same strain is grown in hydro versus soil. Or if anyone actually know which truley is better. Top Quality is my biggest concern.

some argue it doesn't make a difference if you grow with good nutes... i prefer soil. more earthy for obvious reasons

yeah its said soil grows tastier buds and hydro more yield.. but lots will argue many different ways ...

I do both and soil tastes better but I can almost 2x the yield in hydro

i can put wormcastings in soil and I cant in hydro. Worm castings add a unique flavor to the soil that chemical Nitrogen enhanced just dosent have.

can you really double your yield.thats crazy why anyone would go soil if this was true.
