It seems like a 50/50 mix would be great for drainage.
Like if you have some ph issues and need to flush the medium, it would be quick and easy and you could get back on your adjusted nute schedule.
I have my girls in 3 gal pots and it takes several days to get dry enough to feed or water.
Maybe I am just impatient or too excited about my grow.

yeah, that's the way to go. I recycle my perlite each grow by dumping my old soil (Pro Mix) into a tub of water and skimming it off with a strainer scoop.

Ill just dump my old soil in a pile for outdoor beds and mix with compost.
