Soil To Hydro Transplant??

Yesterday I transplanted two of my 1 month old girls from dirt to hydro. I used PH water with super thrive to rinse off as much of the dirt as I could. The roots were three times longer than the length of the plant above the soil, so I cut about half of it off?? I hope I don't regret doing that... But its been 24 hours since I placed them into the hydro setup and right now all the leaves are curled down and they dont look very happy. I know they're in shock, and my best guess is that they cant pull enough water up to the leaves. So just to be safe, should I place a humidity dome over them and raise the lights up a little? And at what strength should my nutes be for plants that are going through transplant shock? I'm currently watering them with GH (mild growth strength) for 20 mins twice a day using the ebb and flow tray. Any suggestions would be appreciated, Thanks guys!

Just to give you guys an update.. I placed them under the humidity dome and now they perked right back up. However the edges of the leaves are dry and discolored, but I was expecting that to happen after the way it looked like before. So I guess the only question now is.. for how long should they stay under the dome? should I wait until new shoots come out again or wait a few weeks?

Yeah i do this all the time and have no probs. (dwc) make sure you keep your roots moist and you should be fine.

I mean its not terrible to trim the roots occasionally if you know what you are doing, but you just cut half the roots off?
