Soil is a mix of ff of,promix, perlite, and lime, ff nutes being used. tested runoff and got 4.0! medium was flushed with 7.8ph water straight from the tap, runoff was very discolored yellow like pee "clear after the flush", after many gallons off water it got up to about 6.5ph. Now my question is how the hell did it get that low ? My guess is the peatmoss,and nutes mixed together could have been the cause coupled together with my nute solution and having to use alot of ph up to get it back up as with my nutes added to tap water gives me a 5.7ph.
I remember reading a while back that to much up or down in a nute soloution can cause a reaction between the nutes and ph up or down and cause alot of damage. At this point I know the flush is just a bandaid untill the problem is found so Does anyone have any advice? should I water with a lime soloution at this point? * edit * note- the grow medium is flushed every 2 weeks and has been since day 1 " 5 weeks into flower now" ph has been pretty good untill the last 2 weeks.
