Soil recipe Adjustment

So guys I'm done for a couple of months all my soil is out on the veggies and I'm going to be making a new batch. I am going to list the products I used this past year, my soil was a little hot this year as far as P goes. The rest seemed Ok (Except for the biker kush which showed some really bad clawing), but I am sure adjustments can be made. So here it goes.

3 cups Dolomite Lime
4 Cups Blood Meal
4 Cups Bone Meal
1 20lb bag of worm castings
1 Small container (350 grams) Of Organic seaweed mix 4-3-7 (https://www.rona.ca/en/seaweed-fertilizer-68905001--1)
1 Cup of Fish Emulsion sprayed on with a pump sprayer
.5 cup -1 cup epson salts
Tbsp Molasses Also sprayed on and stirred in
Also added a very small amount of Gro-tek Silica to the spray
4 or 8 litres of Perlite, forget how much I think 4 sounds right.

So the Soil I added this all to is
1 Bag of Promix All purpose (http://www.rona.ca/en/soil---all-purpose-soil-48545014--1#zoom)
1 Bag cheap Potting soil (http://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/premier-potting-soil-25-l-0594711p.html)

So 53 litres of soil/soilless mix + 20 litres of castings

I reammended for the second run with this soil I added mainly Alfalfa meal.and some tea.

So what mistakes did I make with my first organic soil. What should I do to improve my results this upcoming season, I have lots of ammendments left.

Neem and Crab meals and better compost/soil are my top priorities.

Please keep in mind I am in Canada and getting certain amendments shipped costs way more then it's worth. So I'm trying to use basic stuff I can get at my local hydro store/home depot/ other big box stores.

Mr. Head my brother from the north. You may be suprised to know that it is likely a calcium issue you are having and not P. Looking at your mix i would say that would be the case. The lime and bone meal supply alot. Having too much calcium will cause it too bond with and lock out certain nutrients - P being one of them. You mentioned clawing leaves. Did they also have small white or rusty blotches near the leaf tips? In any case i would cut the lime in half, even less. Also, you could cut back on the bone meal and use 2 cups. For the blood, alfalfa and neem meals one cup of each will do plenty. Hope this helps a bit.

No crusty spots on the clawing one, she was very young and the only plant I've had in Veg that has shown any symptoms of Over Fert, regrettably I don't have a picture of that one as I chopped it down as it wouldn't be done in time to coincide with my plans. My plants are making it through veg fine, looking marvelous not a spot on them, it's when I reach about 3/4's through flower I start getting leaves like this.Problem 005.JPG

This plant is approaching 8-9 weeks in flower now.

I will most definitely use less dolomite though. Thanks for the tips. I was aware I probably used too much afterwards, didn't realize it could lock out P good to know.

I will throw up some links to some pictures of plants that have thrived in this soil while only showing minor burns like the photo "problem #005"

The Thumbnail is of my Moms, Training Day and EmDog, going to keep them around so I have something I know is half decent to run next season :)

You can see in this picture from a few months back the same type of burn but like I said it only effected a few leaves so I didn't worry about it too much at the time. I would like to correct this for the future.

Looks somewhat normal for a lower fan leaf after 8+ weeks. All the upper half of the plant nice and green? I'm still leaning towards too much Ca. Plants look good otherwise. We had similar problems with clawing during veg with some Lemon Haze × Chernobyl but they overcame. They are showing the same yellowing lower leaves as well.
