u can use any soil mix you want or even make your own. but the best thing to do would be to do a 45\45\10. soil mix/natural soil (if you live in a area with good soil or you can afford to buy some)\and organic nuts (blood & bone). it will save you money & time!

i think im gonna go with a 50/45/5- 50%foxfarm ocean forest 45% promix bx and 5% organic nutes much appreciated for the idea charles lewis i def like saving both money and time

Add this to promix:

This company should be giving me commissions for all the times I posted their links here.:-P

I make my own promix base of peat, lime, and perlite, then add epsoma and worm castings/humus.
This is an amazing answer... espoma is what people who actually want results without spending 10x 's too much use. You need to have a medium...plus ALL necessary nutes...not just the three. Garden tone...does this mixed with promix. You can even cheapen up the mix by doing 50-75% promix compost for most of the rest and about a lb. Per large pot of garden tone.

just add some dead composted matter in that promix hp and youll be set. some compost, manure, worm castings, and some good ACT's and you can get a half pound to pound with a 18 gal

I see the NPK for this is 5-3-3.....I am going to be putting my plants outdoors soon....it will be about 15 hours of daylight when I do....Thinking flowering would start soon going from 18-6 indoors....Would I be better off with a different NPK then such as one of these ?

2-5-3
