You mean to replant just before 12/12????
Actually- there is a mix that works well for the whole grow... and works well for the last re-plant
1 bag Light Warrior + 1 bag Ocean Forest + Pearlite + 1/4 cup Happy Frog Fruit & flower Granular Organics.
Replant at least 2 weeks before 12/12 so the nutrients are being actively used from the soil. You shouldn't have to feed, except a light P-K and Micro-nute solution after week 4 of flower--- and of course carbs if you use them.
;) another option, if you can get it- is M3 soil (Medical Marijuana Mix) also sold under the label of Michigan Made Mix (for the wussie stores afraid of the big green pot-leaf on the original bag!) It feeds the plants thru the whole grow- just add water-- though if you veg more than 5 weeks, you will want to supplement with a high P-K guano in flower- or top-dress with "papa's perfect Poop"... one of the main ingredients in the M3.. just before 12/12.

Strange, I use FFOF specifically for flower, and light warrior and a 50/50 mix of both throughout veg. Also use worm castings and perlite with FFOF in flower for health and more aeration so plants can take up water/nutes faster by drying out faster.

Always good to experiment.

Doesnt matter what brand of soil you use, as long as it provides good drainage and aeration. What is important is that you keep your nutrient levels around this ratio 3:1:2. Plants need the same soil requirements veg through flower so changing it is a waste of money, Stick with one soil that works for you and learn it inside and out, ie how well it retains moisture, how well it drains, frequency of watering needed at all stages. Just because something cost more money doesnt always mean its a superior product, especially in horticulture. There are only so many ways to build a good soil and all nutrients are the same, plus minus macro nutes and other additives.

ProMix BX is what I have used for a long time now....works great...cheap...3.8 cf is 25 to 30 bucks....however I always amend the BX with apx 2 parts BX to 1 part blend of perlite and vermiculite.... a generous dollop of dolomite lime is also mixed into the blend... and as the plants require, a little Jack's Classic for nourishment and that's it.:joint:

Simpler is better and less is more....

Thank you to everyone for all suggestions an i have decided to just stick with one soil i know this soil an i like it an experimenting could fuck everything i have watched an grew up. I take my growing seriously to the point my girl gets tiered of me talking about my babies lol so thank you to everyone...

My recommended mix is Kellogs Amendment, Kellogs Potting Soil, Spaghnum Peat Moss, Perlite, and Vermiculite. I mix 1 cu ft. each of Amendment and Potting soil with 1 cu ft. of Spaghnum. Then I mix in 4 quarts each (half a bag) of vermiculite and perlite. Makes a nice and airy soil. But one that holds moisture like a champ. At one point, I ran a couple of plants using only amendment... Needless to say that it doesn't hold water very well. This could be good or bad. It's good if you want to water once a day which promotes faster growth if kept up with; bad if otherwise. I've used peat and vermiculite alone, too... It compresses too easily; roots have a hard time breathing. But the mix I suggested is a really good blend. Altogether, one should end up with 8 cu. ft. of super premium soil for about $30. It's very similar to FFOF, but a little better, in my estimation. So, in the future, mix your own soil... One soil for veg. and a separate one for flower? That's ridiculously excessive. That energy is better spent elsewhere.
