i know its probably not reccomended but i used chalk to raise alkalinity once. You'd probably have better luck with the ph up and down tbh dude

You want to get that PH down to arround 6.4, this happend to my plants and it caused them to die. Fix this otherwise they will fix you.

i had this same problem except my pH was more around 7.4. i flushed one plant with about 1.5 times the amount of water (around pH 6.0) as there was soil in the pot. with the other plant i just made sure to water with an acidic solution. the one i flushed yielded less. in your case since the ph is so high i dont know if just watering with acidic solution would work. hopefully someone with more experiance can help. also i think you can add garden sulfur to your mix to lower ph.

As for the PH I would try using lemon juice to lower it. PH down is definitely the best but if you need a home remedy lemon juice is your answer. If you need to raise it use ash. The leaf curling is most likely due to heat so check your temps and soil moisture levels. I would keep researching but im almost positive that is your solution. Hope I helped. :)
