Ok, so I want to find some potting soil that doesnt have any nuets to mix with the perlite I just got, but I cant find any potting soil that doesnt have fertilizers already in it.

I've got a bag of top soil that doesnt have any plant food in it. That stuff just seems so dense though. Maybe it'll be alright though after mixing it w/ the perlite? Or maybe there's is a way to drain the nutrients out of the potting soil I already have?

why do you want to have no nutes in your soil?

the fact that most potting soils have nutrients in them already is a good thing because it prevents you from having to use liquid nutes on young plants. thus preventing you from nute burning your sprouts. go with fox farm ocean harvest. great stuff. :peace:

Well, what if he wants to do an organic grow and doesn't want to use the nutes that are included in with the store bought soil? Especially if the only thing he can get is some miracle grow.

I would say if you don't have a fox farm retailer around you, then go find some Premiere Pro Mix. Or just get a bale of Peat Moss and mix it in with the top soil & perlite you have and that will make it a lot more fluffier.

stopcallingmedude, i like the avatar.

Yea, I have the foxfarm liquid nutes. And I would rather be able to just feed w/ those, rather then worrying about how hot the soil is. So yea, thanks for the idea Mud.
