Soil help (It's that time again)

I've had fungus gnat problems with my last two grows and figured It's time for a new soil that doesn't have bugs in it, I live in Canada.

So I'll been doing some lurking and I've found that cannabis requires a 1:2 ratio of P to K throughout all stages of it's growth.

Now I've decided to use this Sea Soil stuff! Does this look too hot for the little ones?

http://www.seasoil.com/container-gardening-mix.html - NPK ratio is 1.2-.3-.05 with added perlite.

From seed good sir!
I've not used soils like that for sprouting seeds. They can be a little too hot for those delicate new root systems and I'd prefer not to chance it.

For seeds, my best success was to germinate them in a seed start mix. Get the little one growing and once you have the first full node fully opened, you could transplant into that soil mix and give water only for the first couple of waterings. Let another couple of nodes grow then you can start them on 1/2 strength vegging nutes then gradually increase to full strength nutes.
