soil growth ??

after 5 weeks of vegging under a four tube t-5, what are realistic expectations? i have 4 plants, adn there heights are 7,8,7.5 and 10inches. is this small?? no nutes given to them until the other day for the for the first time. they have been in foxfarm ocean. is this normal height for the timeframe? just trying to gage this, i would like to induce flowering at a 1.5 if i have any females

if you have the T5's close then ya, it's not much light so they grow slower, be happy they ain't stretching!
and how many T5's? i use 4' x 4-T5's and my clones and veg cyle is in it, and i have to switch them out to flower in 4 weeks max....

damn, they look nice. epixbud, i have a 2ft fixture four t-5's, what week in vegging are you in with your girls?? at what height do you flower at? what medium do you grow in? and at what time do you give them nutes??

lol, they are 2 1/2 weeks there, they started in a home made aerocloner, then into Sunshine Mix4 in beer stlye cups, 1 week at 24h and 1 week at 18h (er.. still there tho), then into potz at 3 per pot into 12h (with root seperators), aiming for SOG with them, i let them grow bout 9"-10" then top them so they all level, like them about 6"-7" for flower,
those pics earlier were UNtopped, they all going into potz later tonight... there's the nutz i use, i also use Growzyme and KLN rooting horome in the early stages

get some cfls both of you

CFL's for me..... not likly, i got the T5's for clones and a 400w MH w/parabolic reflector for the mom's and 2x600w HPS light pipes for flower, LMAO, sorry i don't settle for CFL's, i'm out for big buds, couldn't compare to the yeilds i want.......

along the way i'm goin, 3 rooms at 120 plants a month...... sorry, no amount of CFL's are gonna are going to produce what the HID's will, size and speed matters when thinking CFL's, do a little stealthy grow and ya, but not for large production, not fesable..... how can you possibly work in an area with that many cfl's to compare 2x600w hid's? you would have cfl's everyware!
all this is said going by actual lumens per figures, look everyware........
like i said in the first comment..... sorry i don't settle for CFL's

well if your goal is to scorch your plants and drive your electric bill than sure

thats why i use light pipes and as for the hydro, LMFAO, $30 extra a month...... ummm, profit over a small $30...... and why do you grow? how much pot can you buy for $30, and will it last you a month?
