I have a mixture of miracle grow and peri and vermi. I have a 400w mh about 2 feet above them and another 75w mh behind glass in the corner . My soil dries real quick. temps in the cage are about 75-80. i mist them to keep the tops of the soil moist. with humidity about 24%. My plants are showing signs of being overwatered and going limp. some even dying. help please. whats should i do ?

you should get the light further away, and try to increase humdity in the grow area. easiest way is to have a bucket or two full of water just standing somewhere.
how are your plants showing signs of overwatering if the soil is drying out? are you sure it's not just the top of the soil or all the way through?
And what size pots are you using?

And probably shut off the 75w since it's not currently helping anything.

the 75w is makin the seeds in the jiffy pots (lil cardboard square pot things) which might be absorbing the water right? pop up in the corner of the cage. k ill move the light farther away. i put a big ass bowl of steaming hot water in with them . the plants are limping and falling over as if they were laying down to die.

Alright bro, stop misting them to keep the soil moist, its GOOD for your babies soil to get dry b/c it allows the roots to grow, searching for water. Water the soil till you see water coming out of the bottoms, I even mist the leaves after watering the soil. And like the above poster said, put some water in some buckets/cups w/e to increase the humidity so that the soil doesn't dry up so fast.

peace:peace:

Fire, if your still in veg stage, keep the humidity up with the water in the cups and what not. I think you should just check them daily, stick your finger in the soil around the edges of your container and if its bone dry give them some water. Once you get to flowering , you want the humidity a bit lower b/c you dont want mold growing on yur babies.
