Been hearing alot latley about using soil bags or at least black plastic at the bottom of your holes. What's the reasoning behind doing this? How does it help. I have half a dozen outdoor plots, some of which have had dirt in them since last fall. The holes average about 4 feet deep none of them have soil bags or plastic in them. Is it going to make a difference??
