SOG strains

Hi, I'm a new grower planning my first grow. I'm looking to grow 2 strains either SOG or ScrOG. I would really like to have one be NL but I'm unsure which bank has a good stabilized pheno. Looking for suggestions on the 2nd strain. i'm looking for ease of growth, non stinkers, and a decent to high yield

Hey Pyrothe, welcome aboard.

I grew PeakSeedsBC Northern Lights - double topped to 22" and produced 2.5+ oz. Piney taste, not as potent as I'd like but not bad. Some of the guys have done some great NLs, I forget which ones review best but someone will come on. It's a strain I keep forgetting about.

As for the other strain - you asked for: ease of growth, low smell, good yield - what effects do you want? Sedative/energizing; dreamy/trippy; etc? I grow marijuana for the effects that I get from the bud - I'll grow the easiest, largest yielding strain I can get that give me those effects, but the effects come first. effects. I'm stuck on that idea ... must .. move on ... (read in JT Kirk's voice, pre becoming a charactature of himself)

I do a CCOB (Crop Circle Of Bud). I like it because it's easy - you can veg as you would any other grow and work the plant into CCOB the first week of flower. Not as efficient as scrog but you can move the buckets around and there is no screen.

I'm flowering Super Strawberry Diesel, Kali Mist and Bubblegum now and have others to try. Longer stemed plants are better, short squat plants will be more difficult this way.

thanks alot Hobbes. As far as effects go, I'd like a good NL, which I believe is usually indica, and then maybe a good hybrid. I'd like to stay away from some of the more paranoia and heart racing strains. But honestly I think the NL should cover the couchlock, and then maybe a head/body hybrid for an earlier smoke
