SOG Growers! Throw me some tips!

Hi guys,

Okay, for my new setup, I seem to have more space available for me. Where as I used to have to keep things short, I now can stretch me legs a little. I've been deliberating for while on which way to go (soil or hydro), and have decided to do a flood a drain setup in rockwool slabs with a SOG emphasis. I've also decided to cut no corners with this new setup. I don't like re-doing things, so why not get it as close to perfect as I can the first time. Everything on my list I intend to get, as I plan on spending around four stacks on this.

Here are my dimensions:

8' x 8' grow area, completely contained.

Four 3' x 3' tables with resevoirs, pumps, etc.

Four 600hps with cooltubes and ducting for ventilation.

EZ Clone 30 site clone machine.

Four oscillating fans, one for each table.

I plan to set the room up with a table in each corner, giving me a 2' walkway in between all tables.

Here is my budget on this, and remember, I estimated high so that at least I'll FEEL like I've saved some money in the end.

Tables - x4 - $650
Lights - x4 - $1600
Phat Filter - $120
Clone Machine - $229
Ducting - $100
Nutes - $200
PH Tester - $200
Rockwool - $100
Mylar - $100
Fans - $100
Varioius Asundry - $250 (for anything I haven't covered and/or a window unit to keep the temps down)

Total = $3,649

I plan to use Fox Farm for my nutes.

I hope to be using L.A. Confidential or Chronic.

My mother plants will have their own area outside of these specifications, as this room will be flower only. I might incorporate the clone chamber underneath one of the tables.

My end goal is to have a 2-week cycle going with 16 plants in each cycle. Since I've only done soil before, I'm going to estimate on the low side and say 8 oz per tray.

Basically, do these prices look right? Has anyone one L.A. Confidential within these parameters before? Will four 600hps with cool tubes make the room too hot? Can I increase plants per tray once everythings going smooth? What would a good estimate on yield be per tray once this is up and going?

And remember, this will be my first big hydro setup so go easy on me if I'm over-looking something.

Thanks guys.
