SOG grow 11'x15' room!

Im in the process of building my room the wall frames are up i just need to drywall and paint..

I need help with exhaust and cooling methods. I will have 4 tables about 4.5'x5' ea. housing plants of diff life cycles.. each table will have 1000W light. And i will also have a table for my mothers with a 400W or 600W MH light. each table will have a fan blowing across the top of the plants.

My question is.... Should I attatch lines to the individual lights? or should i do one outtake system from the room itself? my concern is smell and heat (the exchange of hot air to fresh). Where does a carbon filter come into play here?

The carbon filter would go on your exhaust to filter the smell before it went out. You should have one intake coming in with fresh air and then the hot air exhaust (with carbon filter) on the other side of the room, thereby moving the hot air out, and the fresh air in.

so im basically going to need two lines visible from the outside of the room....because they wont fit above the cieling.. it will need to scale the headers instead.

and with larger grows isnt it essential to have nitrogen added to the air? does it matter where it is in the room in relation to the plants?

Ya, you'll need one exhaust and one intake. You would want the fresh air coming in on the opposite side as the exhaust that way the fresh air gets pulled across the room on its way to the exhaust.

Oh i'm not jealous, my grows are 4x your size ....
I just hate to see one huge disaster happen, cause I once did that a long time ago. It was so sad I even cryed.

This is the plan for my space...

SOG grow...

-4 tables; each has a diff stage of growth.

-6 mothers against the left wall with a 600W MH.

-Shelving or tower for clones (adjacent to the
mothers)

-Each table will have a 1000W HPS or MH depending on which table.(orange boxes)

-In the corners of the table are wall fans (white ovals)

-Ventilation and odor parts (RED) red box to the right wall is the carbon filter.

-Black box to the bottom left is where my CO2 will be.

Any suggestions let me know.

That's alot of juice over the mothers, I would just give them 4ft flours. Or they'll grow faster then you need them too.
How are planning on seperating the two rooms? vegging and blooming
I don't think you need 1000W MH, just put them right into bloom after cloning. Since you are doing a SOG. Are you using reflectors or bare bulbs?
Are you planning on a 8wk strain and doing a harvest every two weeks?

-Soo i'll just replace the two MH with HPS.. 4 1000 W.. i want 20 plants per table. With an umbrella reflector. Yea i want to use Arjan's Haze #2, I have the Feminized seeds arlready and I was gunna throw in a couple northern lights just for fun(not fem). And yes, i do want to harvest every 2 weeks.

*How often do you think i should replace the clones from the tower to the tables... over the duration of the grow what time intervals should i use? Since you already know alot about what i wanna do.

I dk how to divide them... i didnt think i would have to, i had a brain fart lol.

Fem. seeds are risky business, because you have a good chance of a hermie. As is being discussed on another post. You'll need to keep an eye out for any signs of little yellow bannans, the signs of a hermie.

I'm not sure what you mean replace the clones?
For a plant to bloom it needs 12 hours of light, no more. Vegging plants need 18 to 24 hours of light. You see how you need to seperate the rooms.

if you don't have room to put a piece of 4x8 board or drywall.
Panda film (black & white) will work, just thumb tack it up all around.

As for those seeds i will just use them. if there are hermies i'll get rid of them, use the ones that turn +Female. And clip from them and out of the first batch ill hold a couple back as mothers.

I could throw up some dry wall, but its a pain in the ass to drill into this cement lol. I but ill prolly use panda fil drilled into the ceiling, and under a couple cinder blocks on the floor

Oh that sucks gotta drill in cement... it's good idea to use wood strips, the 1/2" x1"x10' to hold it up and drill through the wood and put the film under the wood, or tack it to the wood.

It's best to find that one special female that has the best growth, and clone from that one. Not every seed will produce a great and fast growing plant, it's all chance.

Well no, you clone that special one and those clones become your moms.
Just grow them to whatever size you require. It gets fun, you'll know what to do once you get into it.... and then you get addicted.. to growing
